Come to the garden

Shared 4/27/22

From the front porch and beyond:

come

Easter has just passed, spring is in the air. It’s a beautiful windy day.

God asks me to come to the garden.

As I sit here, so humbled by his grace and mercy, I must confess I forget to stay awake, I have a hard time staying and watching for just one hour.

A chore calls, a need echoes in my head, distractions from His voice.

My Savior wants to talk with me.

Be still my thoughts!

Listen and watch!

Be alert; rest can come later. The busyness of the day can wait.

My Father is talking.

He has a plan that I must follow.

Will I walk in Faith or will He reveal His plan?

Be still, listen, watch and wait.

My Father is giving instructions, soon enough it will be time to see what is near. Soon, it will be time to take action.

But for one hour, be still, listening, watching, and waiting.

Listening to my Father’s voice.
