I Will Declare of His Love

Let me begin by saying I almost deleted this blog post. It is stretching my comfort zone and I thought no one would want to read this. However, I do believe this is what God wants me to write. Please pray that He will guide you as you read.

Perusing Facebook

As I peruse Facebook, there are so many different feelings that emerge. Love, sadness, laughter, anger, fear and anxiety. People have been posting lots of humor which I enjoy. As you know there are also memories and pictures of loved ones. Each so special. The news is usually negative and causes anxiety.

What Can We Do?

In my Bible readings this week I have given a great deal of thought to what we as Christians can do to help combat the anxiety caused by the news. What can we do while we are ‘safe at home’ to let others know about Jesus? He loves us so much and wants us to trust in Him. He tells us so often not to fear. How can we spread the word, the truth of His love, peace and joy?

Tell Your Story of Jesus

“Your love, GOD, is my song, and I’ll sing it! I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are. I’ll never quit telling the story of your love.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭89:1-2 ‭MSG‬‬

Psalms 89:1-2 tells us to proclaim His faithfulness to everyone with your mouth. It tells us to declare His faithful love. In these verses, the Psalmist reminds us to worship God and to witness to others. Not only are we to spend time with Him in worship and reading the word, we are to witness to others. We are to pass His word and His faithfulness in our life experiences to others.

Remember His Works

“Remember His marvelous works which He has done.” ‭‭I Chronicles‬ ‭16:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:18‬a ‭NKJV‬‬
“You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When the children of Israel were entering the promised land, God gave them instructions. Lots of instructions. One that is particularly important is to remember and share with others what God has done.

So, what I am going to suggest will be out of most of our comfort zones. Mine for sure! Post on your Facebook feed something Jesus Christ has done for you. You, personally. You may not see His work in your life right now during this time, but REMEMBER how good He has been to you in your past. Let others know Jesus is alive and working.

Facebook Live

Facebook Live! Have you ever posted a FB live talk? Me either, but God has given us so many avenues on the internet to share. You can do this! Let others know of His love. Give someone hope. Share the joy with others of knowing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

Be Obedient!

My challenge to you and myself is for you to pray about remembering and sharing what God has placed on your heart. Don’t be negative or afraid. Be obedient! Let His love shine through you. I encourage you to do a FB live! If not, post something. I plan on doing a FB Live today and pray God will use it to encourage others. Won’t you give Him the praise and glory He deserves?

And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God—my God— will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”</i‭‭I Chronicles‬ ‭28:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

About Paula Wallace

A child of God, wife, mother and grandmother of 6 precious children. I love art, nature and treasure my dear friends. Through the valleys and mountaintops, God led me to His saving grace at the age of 32. Since then the valleys and mountaintops have proven His love to me. I am learning to trust Him in all things. My prayer is that you, too, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and trust Him. The Bible verse that I lean on mostly is Proverbs 3: 5-6 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.”NKJV Paula Wallace

We would love to hear from you
