A Fuller Life

A Fuller Life

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10 (NIV)

Have you ever made a list of all the “good” or “positive” things that happen to you in a 24 hour period? A week? A year? I did this and the number blew my mind. Now I catch myself listing them in my head mostly in the morning and sometimes just randomly throughout the day. I feel like this started when I made time to listen to God and let him lead me in the big and small parts of my life. I learned to recognize God’s small and huge hints that he offers.

There is no doubt in my mind that I am living a “fuller life” now. Having Jesus in my heart and letting him lead, guide, and redirect me has made all the difference. Things are far from perfect everyday, but I love my life and the people in it.

The faith and hope that I now have, has shaped the way that I look at my life daily and gets me excited about where I will spend eternity. If you aren’t making time for yourself to “be still” and listen, I promise you, you are missing out on the biggest blessings and a “fuller life.”

“Be still, and know that I am God!” Psalm 46:10 (NLT)

“So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7 (ESV)

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”  Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18.  My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

We would love to hear from you
