Tricia Cook

For I know the “plans” that I have for you, says the Lord, plans of peace and good, to give you a future and a hope (an expected end). (Jeremiah 29:11)

I grew up on a farm where Daddy grew cotton, peanuts, corn, peas, sugar cane, etc. My family was very large, noisy, and full of love. There were 12 children (8 girls & 4 boys) plus Mama and Daddy. There was never a dull minute. I will never know how my parents survived all of us.

Daddy leased the land, and the first several wagons of cotton went to pay the cost of the lease. We always teased him that we were his sharecroppers that worked the fields. The memories of this time are such treasures in my heart. Over the years the Lord has used many of these memories to teach me basic truths from His Word. I have shared many of these “lessons of Truth“ one on one but, this is the first time I have shared in written form.

Since I was a little girl, I have known in my heart of heart that God had a purpose for me. The Lord placed in my heart at a young age to live a life of being a “vessel of honor,” one that he could use and pour His love through.

Let everyone that names the Name of Jesus Christ depart from all iniquity.…………….. If a man (or woman) clean his life, he / she shall be a “vessel of honor“ and ready for the Master’s use, and prepared for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:19-21)

Love forever,

This is my sister not only as my sibling but also my sister in Christ. She has always lived her life as Christ would have her to. Always an example for others to follow. I have three boys and over the years they would tell me, mama if anyone is a Christian aunt Trish is because she lives it each day. What a testament, that young boys could see Christ through her life. Love you sis.
