A Mother’s Love is Forever

Mothers are very special to us. Whether you are young or old, your mother’s love is like no other. Mothers are a very special breed. They work all day and even all night, yet their work is never done. They too become tired and strained and have problems of their own, but they always make time to help us with our problems. Motherhood is an unselfish thing. Her children are the center of a mother’s universe. A mother is a friend, a mentor, a superhero, a conqueror, and a bright light that never burns out. They make personal sacrifices everyday for their family and always put their family’s happiness before their own. Their love for their children and families resembles only that of our Heavenly Father’s. He gave His ONLY Son so that we may all be saved from our sins.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Only parents and especially mothers can identify with what a sacrifice this was. I don’t know any mother who would sacrifice her own children for someone else. Mothers love their children with all their hearts. That is why it is so important that we realize what God gave up. He allowed His one and only perfect Son come down and live among us filthy sinners. He allowed us to beat, torture, mock, and crucify His Son that was guilty of nothing. Although a mother couldn’t dream of making that sacrifice, they make their own sacrifices everyday for us. So this Mother’s Day think about how much your mom means to you and how much she has sacrificed for you. Tell her how much you love her and how much you appreciate everything she does for you. Thank you to the Moms all over the world for your sacrifices, love, and devotion to us! We love you!
