Jesus name means “God saves” –He came to seek and save the lost Bride
“The naming of Jesus was not arbitrary or insignificant.  His name represented  His identity and mission, His character.  We are His bride,….this identification with Him will carry on into eternity. (Revelation 22:4)
…In giving His good name to us, Jesus has given His good reputation.  We have a reputation  that is as if we had His character…..
Justification means “just as if I never sinned, just as if I always obeyed.”

Questions Week 2
I believe prayer works, but……when it states God’s will will be what we end up with, what is the need for prayer?
Jesus, Himself felt the need to pray as a “son of man.”  The Father instructed prayer from earliest Biblical recordings..  Yes, God is sovereign but He hears the cries of His children and is moved with compassion.  He instructed us to pray without ceasing.  Prayer doesn’t change God but it sure changes us.  The Holy Spirit shines His light and as we dig into God’s Word and pray the Holy Spirit inspired Word, we are praying according to God’s will.

Let God’s Word speak to you.  Look up ANY scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to your remembrance.  Scripture explains Scripture.

If God answers every question with a yes………….why did God tell Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you?”
I think the answer lies in James 4:3.    I do not see in Scripture where God answers every question with a yes.   Christ however, never denied an intercessory request (plea for another).
When we pray for others our motives are less selfish.
